in Gaelic "Chi mi na mor-bheanna" (literally "I will see the<br> great mountains"), it is a Scottish slow air which sounds<br> wonderful on the pipes. The tune was a favorite of King George VI<br> and was played at his funeral, and it was similarly played as a<br> lament for President John F. Kennedy’s funeral. The original<br> Gaelic words were written in 1856 by John Cameron of Ballachulish,<br> Scotland.<br> <br> I don't remember when I first heard this, probably for a funeral,<br> but I know it was played on Highland pipes. I looked up the print<br> version later.<br> <br> <br> <br>
